In 2001, Steve Brown served as the President of the Home Builder’s Association of Metropolitan Portland. He has been involved with the association for a number of years allowing him to gain additional knowledge of the industry. Through these efforts he has gained leadership skills that have earned him the respect as a reputable home builder.
Family is important at Timberland Homes, Inc. The president of the company, Steve Brown, is a second generation builder. He has over 17 years of experience as a builder and a developer. His father, Richard K. Brown, started building homes in 1970. Together they have built over 1,000 new homes in Oregon.

Timberland Homes, Inc. is a proud member of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland. Since 1942 the HBA has promoted the home building industry by providing services, networking opportunities and government representation to builders, sub-contractors, suppliers and industry service providers in the Portland area.
Not only does the HBA work for the industry professionals, they also operate on behalf of the home buyers. Affordability, balance, and choice are just a few of the standards the HBA strives for in our market.
